On Thursday, August 8, 2025, the Directorate of Personal Data Protection organized an awareness workshop on the Personal Data Protection Law No. (24) of (2023) at Sanadcom for Business Finance.

During the workshop, the Directorate’s team highlighted the key aspects and dimensions of the law, including the rights of the data subject, the responsibilities of data controllers, compliance procedures with the law and its related regulations, and an overview of the administrative penalties and judicial sanctions that may result from any violations.

This workshop comes as part of a series of awareness activities carried out by the Directorate of Personal Data Protection in cooperation with both public and private sector institutions, with the aim of raising awareness on data protection culture and enhancing security and compliance standards in the Jordanian workplace.
